A New Jersey woman planned a murder-for-hire against her ex and teenage daughter using Tinder

A lady from New Jersey is charged with attempting to hire a hitman she found on Tinder to kill her ex-boyfriend, a 57-year-old Philadelphia police officer, and his daughter, who is 19 years old.

After exchanging messages and phone calls, Jaclyn Diiorio met up with a confidential informant in person after matching with them on the dating app, according to a Camden County criminal complaint that CNN was able to obtain. The affidavit claims that she “allegedly told the informant that she wanted to have her ex-boyfriend…and his daughter killed.”

The 26-year-old allegedly offered the informant $12,000 in exchange for the killings. In Gloucester Township, she turned over $500 in cash and was taken into custody last week. “On another occasion, Diiorio had attempted to arrange for the murder of the father and daughter,” the prosecutors said.

When Diiorio was arrested, she was also discovered in possession of a container of tablets that had the label torn off and were thought to contain the restricted narcotic alprazolam.

Two first-degree attempted murder charges, one first-degree conspiracy to commit murder charge, and one third-degree narcotics possession charge were confirmed by the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.

Diiorio was ordered to stay in detention until her next court appearance on June 11th after Judge Yolanda Rodriguez denied bail during a hearing on Friday. CNN has contacted her lawyer for a statement.
