“Power” star Omari Hardwick is in Kenya and attends the HQ Kenya House grand opening

Omari Hardwick, an American poet, producer, and actor, traveled to Nairobi for a number of events last week.

One of these is the grand opening of the Headquarters Kenya House in Tatu City, which happened this past Saturday. The elite club, the second location worldwide for the US-based HQ House brand, further solidifies Kenya’s rising prominence as a center for cross-cultural interaction and foreign investment.

Hardwick, who is most known for playing James’s “Ghost” St. Patrick in the popular Starz series Power, was the star of “The Premiere,” the high-profile HQ Kenya House premiere party. The Mothership, Nobody’s Fool, and Army of the Dead are just a few of the films and television shows in which the award-winning actor has starred.

The Burns Brothers run the club, which aims to unite some of Africa’s most prominent entrepreneurs, artists, and inventors. HQ Kenya House is a center for international networking, heritage, and collaboration in addition to being a posh members-only venue.

Hardwick highlighted the space’s importance during his remarks at the ceremony, saying, “HQ Kenya House is a bridge from America to Africa, where like-minded individuals come together to create.” Africa is being watched by the world, and now is our moment to create, work together, and shape the future according to our own terms.

“HQ Kenya House is not just a space, it is a movement,” said John Burns, the man behind HQ Kenya House and its sister club in Washington, DC. It embodies the strength of global connectivity and excellence, the power of culture, and the notion that our best work is accomplished when we work together. With this goal in mind, we constructed HQ DC House, and now we’re expanding that idea globally with HQ Kenya House.

Hardwick is scheduled to attend a number of special events and engagements while in Kenya, where he will speak with local fans, business executives, and creatives. The African and American entertainment sectors continue to grow closer as a result of his presence.
