Burna Boy, Charisma, and Virgo Deep will be the main performers at Nairobi’s MadfunXperience

Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy will be the main act for the eagerly awaited MadfunXperience, which will take place on March 1, 2025, at Nairobi’s Uhuru Gardens.

The concert, which is being hosted by Madfun, an events production, travel, and ticketing company, is expected to be a landmark event for Kenya’s entertainment sector.

Along with a fantastic lineup of well-known DJs, Burna Boy will be joined on stage by South Africa’s Amapiano maestro Virgo Deep and Kenya’s Afro-pop phenomenon Charisma. Thousands of music fans from all across Africa and beyond are anticipated to attend the MadfunXperience, making it one of the largest entertainment gatherings in Kenya’s recent history.

Joy Wachira, Managing Director of Madfun, highlighted the event’s importance in raising Kenya’s status in the international entertainment industry during a media briefing. “African music culture has to be shaped and the bar raised. Our goal is to demonstrate that Kenya is capable of hosting global events on par with the greatest in the world. Beyond just a show, the MadfunXperience aims to raise awareness of Kenya’s position in the world of entertainment.
