Bongo rapper Darassa will release his new album ‘Take Away The Pain’ this Friday

Darassa, a Tanzanian rapper, is preparing to release Take Away The Pain, his most recent album, on February 7, 2025.

Some of the biggest names in African music collaborated on the album, which has an astonishing 15 tunes. Among other celebrities, fans can anticipate exciting collaborations with Alikiba, Harmonize, Mbosso, Zuchu, Bien, Jay Melody, and Jovial. Mazoea with Harmonize, Romeo with Zuchu, and Looking For Love with Mbosso are some of the standout tracks.

The hitmaker expressed his enthusiasm for the album on Instagram, describing it as his most significant work to date.

The initiative, which he calls a “alternative therapy for entertainment,” promises listeners a profoundly intimate and memorable encounter. Additionally, he dedicated the project to his devoted fans, stressing that each song was written with the intention of inspiring, entertaining, and uplifting them.

The sound of the album has been greatly influenced by a group of gifted producers working behind the scenes, including Kaniba Creator, Kapipo Beats, Blvcq Igbo6, FoxxMadeIt, Trone, S2Kizzy, and Abbah. The Mix Killer has carefully managed the mixing and mastering to guarantee excellent production.

Darassa, a prominent rapper and songwriter in Tanzania, was born Shariff Thabeet. His breakthrough single, “Muziki,” with Ben Pol, became a continental anthem and brought him widespread recognition.
