Teyana Taylor Offers A Dionne Warwick Biopic Update

Teyana Taylor says she has been given “a lot of creative control” on her upcoming Dionne Warwick biopic, which makes her “nervous.”

In an update on the production’s development, the 34-year-old “Coming 2 America” actor said that it’s a “big job” and that they are taking their time to make it “perfect.” The 85-year-old “Walk On By” hitmaker personally selected lookalike actress Teyana to play her in the next film.

“We have everything kind of set in stone and everything together,” she told PEOPLE. Naturally, there was a slight slowdown due to the regrettable events that have occurred. However, everything is operational.
