Grab ‘Em Glo! GloRilla is named the first ambassador for Fenty Beauty, Fenty Hair, Fenty Skin, and Savage X Fenty by Rihanna
The latest it-girl in Fenty is GloRilla!
The “TGIF” rapper is the first person Rihanna has asked to serve as an ambassador for the Fenty brand across Fenty Beauty, Hair, Skin, and Savage x Fenty. They posted a picture of Glo covering her face with a newspaper bearing the Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty trademarks on Monday to tease the surprise, but everyone in the comments recognized right away who it was.
Following the announcement on Tuesday, GloRilla’s picture session, in which she donned an adorable cherry-print lingerie set, was shared by all of the Fenty companies. The businesses flooded the rapper with all things Fenty, including their ButtaDrop Body Cream in “Fenty Fresh” fragrance, by listing the items utilized in her photo session in their description.
When GloRilla finds out she would be the newest Fenty ambassador, she tells Vogue, “I want to say I was at home in my car, and I was so excited about it.”
Glo told the magazine in another part of her interview that she has been compared to Rihanna for a long time, which she considers the highest praise.
She said, “When I went somewhere, people would tell me that I looked like my mom, who used to say that all the time.” “I adored her music and I adored it.”
GloRilla has a few favorites among the Fenty products she tried before becoming an ambassador, including the Gloss Bomb, which is everyone else’s fave.
“The Fenty lip gloss in the square container is my favorite. She told Vogue, “I might have it in my purse right now.” And I adore the highlighter my makeup artist applies on me. It gives my face a shimmering appearance. I’ve been using the edge control since I dislike soft baby hair and like the look of gelled down baby hair.
Glo also talked on how she felt about Rihanna’s widely circulated video of her singing along to the song “TGIF,” acknowledging that she had to warn everyone in the room during her BET Awards rehearsals.
All I was doing was yelling. I said, “Oh my God.” I was in rehearsals for the song I had just released and was supposed to play at the BET Awards,” she remembered. That was the first thing I noticed when I sat down to take a break and went on Instagram. It seemed unbelievable to me. All I did was yell. “Ya’ll, Rihanna just posted me!” I said.
Glo, get ’em!
