LIV Golf has agreed to a long-term marketing deal with Fox Sports
LIV Golf and Fox Sports have inked a multi-year media rights deal that will allow Fox Sports to broadcast the league competition in the United States beginning next month, the network said Thursday.
According to a statement from the network, Fox Sports will broadcast live coverage of almost the entire LIV Golf league season.
Scott O’Neil, who took Greg Norman’s place as LIV Golf CEO on Wednesday, stated, “This relationship signals the next phase of growth, as LIV Golf is getting bigger and bolder.”
When LIV Golf initially debuted, it produced a significant upheaval in the golf industry by pulling elite players away from the PGA Tour with the promise of enormous payouts and creating a rift among the sport.
An agreement to integrate the professional game has not yet been reached in ongoing negotiations between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf.
