Antonio Brown’s crude remarks after the Fox Sports lawsuit are criticized by Jemele Hill

When it comes to challenges, Jemele Hill isn’t one to back down.

Everyone on social media, including some prominent personalities, is still talking about the sexual harassment case that was filed against Skip Bayless, Joy Taylor, and several other Fox Sports staffers.

Antonio Brown, a former wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, chose to weigh in on the matter on Monday, January 6. He did so by referencing Jemele Hill’s notorious exit from ESPN after she posted disparaging remarks about President Donald Trump on Twitter.

It’s not surprising that Brown, who frequently makes jokes about probably having Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) from his NFL career, doesn’t appear to have any complex opinions regarding the lawsuit. Brown tweeted that Jemele Hill’s removal from television is due to her lack of beauty, after claims that FS1 personality Joy Taylor had affairs with powerful men in order to get employment.

“You mean no one wanted to f**k Jamele?” The former NFL player added his widely used hashtag, #CTESPN, to his post.

Following the tweet’s publication, Hill replied to both the retired baller and a user who said he had personally seen her and “understood” why her appearance would not get her a job.

Hill said, “And you lame a** ran to the Internet because you weren’t crazy enough to say that s**t to my face.”

“Well, I wouldn’t know anything about being community, but you do,” she said in answer to Brown. Given your extensive expertise, kindly tell the students what it’s like to be handed around.

In his response to this tweet, AB wrote, “Really good comeback Jamele…,” once more mispronouncing her name despite the fact that it was in front of him.

According to NBC News, this interaction between Hill and Brown follows a complaint filed by Noushin Faraji, a former Fox Sports hairdresser, who claimed sexual harassment and a toxic work atmosphere filled with racism, sexism, and ableism. The lawsuit seeks class-action status for similarly impacted employees and names Fox, executives, Bayless, Taylor, and others as defendants.
