City wants to sign Kudus in January

A report in English Football says that Manchester City is looking into the chance of using West Ham’s release clause to sign Mohammed Kudus during the January transfer window.

It has been said that Pep Guardiola could look to add players to his team in the next couple of weeks because the defending champions have been hurt a lot this season.

Football Insider’s Pete O’Rourke says that top Premier League teams are once again interested in Kudus and are willing to pay a lot of money for him.

The star player from Ajax Amsterdam has an £85 million release clause in his contract, which City is rumored to want to use.

Along with Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal are also thought to have shown interest in the Ghanaian star Kudus.

There are, however, sources who told Football Insider that Kudus would not be likely to leave West Ham in January. Instead, the clubs may try to rethink the deal at the end of the season.
