A second contingent of 75 Guatemalan soldiers arrived in the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince on Saturday to strengthen a United Nations-supported mission that is responsible for restoring order in the midst of the pandemonium caused by gangs, according to the mission.

Another 75 soldiers arrived a day earlier, bringing the total number of Guatemalan troops to 150. All of the reinforcements are provided by Guatemala’s military police branch, according to a statement from the government.
