A pizza delivery driver in Florida was arrested after allegedly stabbing a customer over a “bad” tip
According to reports, a fight over a gratuity on a pizza delivery led to the startling confrontation that left a Florida lady facing criminal charges. After being charged with assaulting a customer she felt had undertipped her, 22-year-old Brianna Alvelo was imprisoned at Osceola County Jail for Christmas.
According to authorities, Alvelo and a male accomplice who has not been identified broke into a room at the Riviera Motel in Kissimmee on December 22. According to reports, the two attacked the person in the room while brandishing a knife and a gun, respectively. Alvelo repeatedly stabbed the guest before the two of them took a number of items from the hotel room, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the sheriff’s office, Alvelo’s displeasure with a gratuity she got earlier in the evening after delivering pizza to the same room is what motivated her.
As of December 25, the unnamed victim was classified in stable condition after being admitted to the hospital.
Alvelo was taken into custody the day following the incident and charged with aggravated assault, attempted murder, kidnapping, and house invasion with a firearm. She has not been released from detention. There is still no sign of the male suspect.
