Partner A$AP Rocky will be supported by Rihanna at the 2025 Met Gala

Rihanna is scheduled to go at the Met Gala in 2025.

The 36-year-old singer, who has spent years developing her fashion brand, said on Thursday that she will be going to the yearly event in New York with her longtime boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, who is also 36, when she co-chairs the couture celebration.

Regarding her date’s appearance at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 5, 2025, Rihanna told Entertainment Tonight: “He didn’t tell me anything (about co-chairing or his planned outfit).”

“We just intend to be present.”

Rihanna acknowledged that she is “worried about what I’m gonna do,” but she added that she is “not worried” about how A$AP would handle the situation or what he will wear.

Regarding his willingness to assist her with her wardrobe choices, she stated: “I never ask him for help, but he’s always willing to help.”

The group will pay tribute to “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” the Costume Institute’s spring 2025 exhibition.

The 2009 book “Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity” by Monica L. Miller will serve as the basis for the display.

It will explore the “indelible style of Black men in the context of dandyism, from the 18th century through present day” through “garments, paintings, photographs, and more.”

Wearing a white Georges Chakra halter dress adorned with crystals, Rihanna, a Met Gala veteran, made her debut at the fashion extravaganza in 2009.

Since then, she has made over a dozen appearances on the red carpet.
