Nigerian Superstars Rema and Bnxn Release a New Song

Bnxn and Rema, two of Nigeria’s most well-known Afro-fusion pop artists, have worked together for the first time on a brand-new single called “Fi Kan We Kan,” which is available through EMPIRE. This song is the ideal party soundtrack since it combines themes of solidarity and tenacity with an infectious feel. The song, which was produced by Blaizebeats, is about making your payments on time.

Bnxn expresses his displeasure about time and energy squandered on unimportant things while exhibiting his unique sound in the first verse, which flows naturally. “If you don’t say you’re for me, it’s no guarantee, I no fit say you be my padi,” he says, reinforcing his strong conviction in loyalty and fraternity. Prior to Rema’s intense verse that elevates the song to a new level, this establishes the mood of the song and builds momentum.

Award-winning filmmaker Meji Alabi will direct the music video for this song, which is set to dominate the holiday season.

“Fi Kan We Kan” comes after “Phenomena,” which was much anticipated following Bnxn’s historic collaborative album with Ruger, RnB, earlier this year. The project has received 256 million streams to date, reached at number three on the Apple Music Top Albums chart, and was unexpectedly revealed to the fans in a Billboard News interview. In addition to festivals and concerts in Europe, Australia, and America throughout the year, Bnxn went on to perform at the History Theatre in Toronto and the Gramercy Theater in New York City. With collaborations with Wizkid, Stefflon Don, Olamide, Blk Odyssy, Burna Boy, D Smoke, and others, Bnxn has amassed over 2.1 billion career streams to date. He was listed on Grammy.com’s list of Rising Afrobeats Artists and appeared on the cover of Teen Vogue.

Both Rema and Bnxn have sold-out international shows and numerous No. 1 singles. They are among the most admired songwriters of the past few years, and this song demonstrates why. Listen to “Fi Kan We Kan” right now.
