I was boozing during my anti-Semitic outbursts, Kanye West!

Kanye West is putting the blame on alcohol, claiming that he was intoxicated when he made the antisemitic remarks in ’22 that resulted to his severe cancellation.

The rapper revealed shocking information on Candace Owens’ podcast, which was recorded in 2022 but was only made available on Wednesday. He said, “You want to know what kind of alcohol I had in me? Hennessy.

Ye stated that, as he claims to have done in this instance, Hennessy makes individuals “gray” and quickly brings out his demons.

However, he clarified that he didn’t want his remarks to be discredited despite how insulting they were when Candace questioned him about why he didn’t immediately blame his vile “death con 3 on Jewish people” tweet on alcohol.

He maintained to TMZ earlier this year that parts of his remarks were accurate, adopting the same stance—though he did issue a traditional non-apology apology for his hate speech.

Returning to Ye’s alcohol addiction, you may recall that he previously blamed alcohol for inappropriate conduct when he embarrassingly interrupted Taylor Swift’s 2009 VMA acceptance speech. Yes, he attributed it to downing half a bottle of Hennessy.

The consequences of his unacceptable behavior have been severe in both cases, particularly following his divisive antisemitic outbursts (during which he even praised Hitler) and his subsequent sighting donning a “White Lives Matter” t-shirt.
