With their children “fleeing the nest,” Victoria Beckham says she and David are on their “next chapter” together

The fashion designer spoke with Nicole Kidman about work and family during their “Vogue” interview.

Together, Victoria Beckham and her husband David are starting the “next chapter” of their life as their children become older.

The fashion designer and former Spice Girl, Nicole Kidman, discussed her and David’s “achievement” of 25 years of marriage and the effort that goes into trying to be “the best wife, the best mother, and the best professional” in an interview for a piece that was published in Vogue Australia on August 2.

“We woke up this morning and said, ‘We’re so proud of the kids, they’re such great, kind, sweet, humble, funny, hardworking young adults,'” Victoria, 50, shared with Kidman, 57, what she had discussed with David, 49.

Finding that equilibrium is really challenging. That was something I had a lot of trouble with when the kids were little. We have never employed a huge number of people, if you please,” she said. “Our parents have been wonderful, and we do have nannies.” However, you do have a sense of juggling.”

Victoria clarified that during her children’s early years, she and the legendary soccer player “didn’t have much of a social life”.

It was sufficient to be a wife, mother, and to follow your hobbies and do what you love for a living when it came to your career. However, when the children grow older, they leave the nest and pursue their own interests. David and I are now included in the upcoming chapter,” she remarked. “Even Harper, who is 13, has her friendship group, she loves to do her own thing, and we’re super, super close but it definitely feels like that next chapter of our lives together.”

The Beckhams also have three sons: Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, and Cruz, 19. In addition to Harper. Victoria declared that she is “still in love with, possibly more than when we first met,” with their father.

We chuckle a lot. And when it comes to our hobbies and jobs, we genuinely support one another. After 25 years, I told him last night—as well as the kids—that I loved and supported him and that I still wanted him to be the greatest version of himself, and he does that for me.

And it’s crucial that the kids understand that. I am really appreciative and happy that I haven’t sacrificed my work and can continue to do what I love. David and I can spend time together alone, laughing and enjoying the moment, which is something I believe is really uncommon after all these years. Every day is a pinch-me moment, she continued.

In the Vogue interview, Kidman informed Beckham that she and her spouse, Keith Urban, were in the “same boat” as the Beckhams, after Victoria talked about her enduring “passion to be in fashion and beauty” and her prosperous career in both fields. They “put so much into the family and a lot of our social life didn’t exist,” the Academy Award winner revealed.

And now we have to say yes, get out more, and make new friends. Going out and making new acquaintances is the one thing that will fall through when you’re raising kids and saying, “I can’t actually go to that,” or you’re sick and have to cancel, or you have to work,” the speaker added.

“Now we’re older — so we’re going, ‘OK, we as a couple have to find our next step in the world and not just based on us doing stuff as a family.'”

In July, Victoria and David Beckham marked their historic 25 years of marriage with a few heartfelt Instagram posts. Victoria’s post included pictures of their 1999 wedding cake, Victoria wearing a Vera Wang gown, and David traveling by aircraft with close friends and family.

“There are so many incredible memories that come back when I think back on the days leading up to our wedding 25 years ago. Victoria wrote, “I love you so much, @DavidBeckham,” as the post’s caption.
