Poland receives a second $2 billion military loan from the US

The State Department noted that as part of Poland’s significant modernization program, which will involve purchasing American defense equipment, the United States announced on Monday that it has reached a second $2 billion direct loan agreement with the European nation for foreign military finance.

A representative for the State Department, Matthew Miller, stated in a statement that Poland is buying F-35 planes, Patriot missile systems, and Abrams tanks.
In September 2023, a prior $2 billion agreement was struck.
