Rapper T.I. and Wife Tiny want the assault lawsuit against an Air Force member dismissed

Rapper T.I. and his spouse Tiny are fighting to have an Air Force member’s assault complaint dismissed from court.

Clifford Harris, the real name of the rapper, and Tameka Dianne Cottle-Harris, his wife, are no strangers to controversy.

A former landlord filed a significant lawsuit against them in 2022. They are currently back in the news again, but this time it’s a court battle against an Air Force man who is suing them for assault.

T.I., who is well-known for disclosing specifics about his opulent lifestyle, is embroiled in a number of legal disputes, many of which highlight his prominent lifestyle.

Tiny and rapper T.I. claim the statute of limitations has expired.

A woman who went by Jane Doe filed a complaint against the well-known couple in January. She accused them of willfully inflicting emotional anguish, false detention, and sexual battery resulting from an alleged encounter in 2005.

Doe stated that the attack happened in a hotel room in Los Angeles when she was a 22-year-old Air Force member. T.I. and Tiny, however, vehemently refuted these accusations and asked the court to dismiss the action.

The pair argued in court records that the statue of limitations had expired more than sixteen years ago, making their claims “time-barred”. In their motion, which In Touch was able to receive, T.I. and Tiny’s attorney said:

“The facts as alleged, reflect that [Doe] voluntarily and consciously participated in the encounter up to the point when she said ‘no’ and removed herself from the bed with Defendants, who honored her expressed desire to leave the encounter, go to the bathroom, sit on a couch until the morning, and then leave.”

T.I. and Tiny are awaiting the court’s ruling on their request to have the case dismissed completely, as the judge has not yet made a judgment on the matter.

The Lawsuit’s Alleged Assault by the Plaintiff in Detail

The 2005 encounter, which started at a bar where she met the couple, is described in detail in the lawsuit filed against T.I. and Tiny. The plaintiff claims that when Tiny handed her a drink, T.I. invited her to join them at a hotel, but not her friend.

Upon arriving at the hotel, the complainant stated that T.I. issued directives and “instruction for how the remainder of the night was going to go.” She claimed that she felt lightheaded and dizzy after they had taken a shower, leading her to believe that she had been given drugs.

Sensing that “she was drugged by Tiny and T.I. with the drink Tiny handed her while still at the club for the purpose of sexually assaulting and battering her,” the plaintiff fled to the bathroom to throw up.

According to her attorney, “The Plaintiff did not consent to any of the sexual assault or misconduct and did not have the capacity to consent after being drugged by Defendants.”

She filed a claim alleging “severe emotional, physical, and psychological injury, including humiliation, shame, guilt, economic loss, economic capacity, and permanent emotional distress,” and she is requesting an amount that has not been disclosed.

Rapper T.I. Was Defended in Court Against Losses From Rented Los Angeles Home

T.I. has already encountered legal issues pertaining to acts of violence. Former Los Angeles landlord Farzin Fazeli filed a lawsuit against the rapper in 2022, claiming significant damage to a rental property.

According to The Blast, Fazeli filed a complaint, alleging that the 43-year-old left the Encino residence with damages over $100,000. According to the lawsuit, T.I. began renting the property on July 11, 2020, for $25,000 a month and a $50,000 security deposit.

After the actor departed on August 31, 2022, Fazeli estimated the damage and discovered that $127,182.65, worth of property, had been ruined. “The total outstanding damage is $77,182.65, after deducting the $50,000 security deposit,” the complaint states.

The lawsuit asserted that many unlawful modifications to the property, together with agreements to return it to its original state, were the cause of these damages.

The ‘Live Your Life’ Artist Unveiled An Exquisite Handmade Bed

Prior to his legal issues over the L.A. rental property, T.I. displayed his opulent taste by sharing a picture of his enormous custom-made bed.

The Blast noted at the time that the TV personality had posted a stunning photo of himself reclining in the huge bed and drinking tea on Instagram.

T.I. stated that he spent more than a year creating and developing it in the caption that accompanied the photo. To quote him:

“Huncho, I simply had to? On this, I’ve been working all year. God-size bed made to order?created and constructed entirely from the ground up by??‍♂️ & the crew… (wife Tameka) & my vision, then expertly carried out by them…Take us to the Harris Family Home Décor page.”

The picture was a lighthearted retort to Quavo, the prominent member of Migos, who had earlier flaunted his own enormous bed on Instagram.

T.I.’s New Georgia Mansion Inside

T.I. didn’t stop at a personalized bed; he also lavished on a nearly $4 million mansion in Georgia. The rapper’s estate has 14,000 square feet of living space, ten bathrooms, and seven bedrooms.

Situated in a gated enclave on the Chattahoochee River, this opulent residence features an enormous pool and Jacuzzi.

A wine cellar, an arcade room, a movie theater, a full-sized gym, and an outdoor fire pit are among the opulent extras.
