Meagan Good Arrives at the New Tyler Perry Film Red Carpet Without Jonathan Majors

Meagan Good is skilled at adding flair on the red carpet!

The 42-year-old actress made an appearance at an event on Thursday, June 12, to celebrate the impending release of her current production, Divorce in the Black, without the presence of her 34-year-old lover.

Wearing a bohemian-inspired two-piece suit and a stylish brim hat, Good flaunted her toned belly. She posed on the red carpet beside Cory Hardrict and Richard Lawson, two of her co-stars in the Tyler Perry-written and directed movie.

The movie centers on Ava, “a young bank professional who is devastated when her husband, Dallas, abandons a marriage she is determined to fight for,” and will be available on Prime Video this Thursday, July 11.

“However, fate intervenes, revealing Dallas’ wicked deeds that have trashed their marriage, and once upon a time sabotaged Ava’s destiny to be loved by her true soulmate,” the synopsis states.

Good and Majors appeared on the red carpet together for the first time earlier this month, following the actor’s April sentencing to a year in a Los Angeles “in person batterers” intervention program.

He was found guilty of misdemeanor assault and harassment in December 2023 for a domestic dispute that allegedly occurred in March 2023 involving his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. This led to the sentencing.

Good and Majors are cohabiting, according to a source who told PEOPLE in February, adding that “they’re solid and very much in love.” Following their nine-year marriage, Good and her ex-husband DeVon Franklin announced their divorce in December 2021, which led to the start of their relationship.

June 2022 saw the finalization of their divorce, one week shy of their tenth anniversary. In May 2023, PEOPLE verified that she and Majors were romantically together.

Speaking to PEOPLE at the NAACP Image Awards in March, Good described her personal life and acting career as being at a “crazy time.”

“I’m maturing, mending, transitioning, in love, and getting enthusiastic about what’s coming next. Yes, a lot of things happening all at once. However, I can say that right now is the happiest she’s been in a long time,” she remarked.
