Sued for harassment, Megan Thee Stallion allegedly engaged in sexual activity in front of her coworker

Because she is accused of having sex in front of one of her former employees, Megan Thee Stallion is in legal hot water.

On Monday, April 22, the rapper’s former cameraman Emilio Garcia filed a complaint against her, alleging that Megan, 29, (actual name Megan Pete), harassed him and created a hostile work environment.

Garcia mentioned an alleged incident that happened in Ibiza, Spain in 2022 while he was on tour with Megan, according to court documents acquired by Us Weekly.

“Garcia, Megan, and three other ladies were in an SUV together after a night out. The complaint states that “[Megan] and one of the other women start having sex right beside [Garcia] all of a sudden.” “[Garcia] was in the middle of nowhere in a foreign country and was unable to exit the car because it was moving.” Throughout the entire process, [he] felt ashamed, horrified, and offended.

Garcia went on to say that after telling him to “never discuss what you saw,” Megan made “fat-shaming remarks” to him, calling him a “Fat Bitch” and said “You don’t need to be eating.” The lawsuit claims that Garcia’s “working conditions were intolerable” because of “such harassment, which was so severe or pervasive.”

Garcia said that, in addition to the alleged event in Ibiza, he was “effectively denied any of the protections an employee would have under California law” because he was “misclassified as an independent contractor” while working for Megan.

“[Garcia] basically worked every waking moment of the day. The lawsuit claims that Garcia was “denied overtime pay” after “[Megan] interrupted [Garcia] during dinner more than once and demanded that he immediately shift his focus to assist with her TikTok creative ideas.”

Megan responded to the accusations with a statement from Alex Spiro, her lawyer.

“This is a financial claim for employment; no sexual harassment claim has been made, and the false allegations are meant to make her look bad. “We’ll handle this in court,” Spiro told Us in a statement.

Garcia, who was Megan’s employee from 2018 until 2023, went into further detail about the lawsuit’s allegations in an NBC News interview that was released on Tuesday.

“I was uneasy. Regarding the incident where Megan allegedly had intercourse in front of him, he said, “I was kind of frozen, and I was shocked at kind of just the overall audacity to do this right beside me.”

Garcia told the site that he felt “degraded” to “hear someone who advocates about loving your body” say such things in reference to the alleged fat-shaming remarks.

“Over the years, especially coming from an office setting, I’ve learned that the entertainment industry does not have an HR department,” he said. If you don’t realize that you’re being treated unfairly, you won’t truly know how to stand up for yourself until you start talking to your peers who are represented by managers, attorneys, agents, and other professionals. Therefore, what I truly want to do is inspire people to stand up for themselves.
