Makonda arrives at the CCM headquarters in Dodoma for questioning – Tanzania

Arusha Regional Commissioner, Paul Makonda has arrived at the headquarters of the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) in Dodoma for questioning by the Ethics Committee.

Makonda has responded to the summons to appear before the committee in a letter written to him on April 16, 2024, while the reasons for his summons have not been made clear.

Originally, Makonda was supposed to appear before the committee on April 20, 2024, before it was moved forward and scheduled to take place today, Monday, April 22, 2024.

Mwananchi newspaper, which has set up camp at the offices, has witnessed Makonda arriving at the area at 9:15 in the morning with a gray Toyota Land Cruiser V8 car. However, unlike other days today, security at those offices has been strengthened.
