Under the standard exhibition regulations, Mike Tyson declines to fight Jake Paul, saying, “This is a fight.”
The media for the highly anticipated boxing contest between Mike Tyson, the devastatingly strong man, and controversial YouTube celebrity Jake Paul is starting to ramp up.
Jake Paul made a complete 180-degree turn from his usual opponents and chose to take on Mike Tyson, who is significantly older but still very dangerous. Since being professional, “The Problem Child” has triumphed in nine of his ten battles and keeps bringing attention to the sport for new fans.
Mike Tyson talked about how hard he trains and why he thinks he will have the speed advantage over his opponent, a 27-year-old, during an appearance on Fox News.
Tyson remarked, “I don’t think he’s faster than me,” in reference to Jake Paul. “I work out every day. I consider it very important.”
“It is the act of navigating the entire day. I work on the roads when I wake up in the morning. I visit the strength and conditioning specialist at one, go to the gym, and then it all starts over.”
