Breaking: Nigerian actor Mr. Ibu has died

Veteran actor, John Okafor, known as Mr. Ibu, is dead. The 62-year-old Nigerian actor died on Saturday afternoon, March 2, 2024, after he was reportedly moved to the Intensive Care Unit at the hospital in Lekki, Gistmania reported. In October 2023, the veteran actor was reported ill and required financial assistance. But in November 2023, Okafor’s family confirmed that one of his legs had been amputated to keep him alive.

Mr. Ibu allegedly died at Evercare Hospital in Lagos on Saturday. He was said to have died from cardiac arrest, according to post by the leadership of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.
