DJ Akademiks Calls Meek Mill “The Brokest Rapper Out Of Everyone” and Tells Him Not To Compare. To Rick Ross

Ak used Kick to discuss Meek's automobiles, his last million comment, and his finances.

DJ Akademiks called Meek Mill “the brokest rapper out of everybody” on his Kick feed and told him to quit sounding like Rick Ross.

The entire segment revolved around Ak's belief that Meek is flexing too much. He tested it bluntly. Ak believes a rapper with the same possessions as a streamer is poor and should not brag.

Ross was his constant comparison, and he explained why. He noted that Meek has never claimed to own a $30 million Miami Beach mansion. Ak claims Ross can talk his big [crap] because he owns the vehicle collection, plane, Star Island home, and Atlanta estate. Meek hasn't.

He then went to the cars, where the clip has gotten the most views. Ak reiterated, "Driving around a Urus like a scammer,” about Meek. Since Ak owns his automobiles regardless of dust, he sees Meek brag about it and wonders whether he's going through something.

A number about himself followed. He said Progressive charged him insurance that day, and he was tired of automobiles. He calculated six thousand dollars a month for automobiles he doesn't drive: 72 thousand a year for what? He stated it was a waste of money and only cool when he first got them. Ak said he's outgrown Meek's attitude.

He said, “You’re like 40 and 20 years in rap. “You only have a [expletive] car?”

He addressed Meek's criticism directly. Ak wondered why Akademiks doesn't have more money than the rappers he reportedly ended and why the come- up is described as a new chair and house. He told Meek to stop mentioning “us.”

He then pulled up receipts from years ago, referencing an interview where Meek said he was down to his last million following the wheelie incident that got him arrested and said he could find the film. He remarked, “That sounds like a tough life, brother.” After listing artists Meek cannot be compared to, he concluded that Meek's money is less than that of a streamer he named.

This wrap was almost reasonable. Ak stated he wasn't knocking Meek since these assets depreciate.

This is the latest round of a feud that began in 2020 when 21 Savage sought to mediate on Clubhouse. It resumed Saturday, September 12, after Lil Durk was cleared on all charges in his federal murder for hire trial. Meek wrote on X that Akademiks had gaslit every major new hip hop beef, giving 6ix9ine a platform while Durk fought for his life and is there to kill successful Black men from the streets. He advised supporters to unfollow and silence him, that Dream Chasers create five streams led by culture experts, and threatened to broadcast himself to drown out Ak. Meek also made other personal charges about Akademiks that other publications deny.

The following escalation was worse. Akademiks accused Meek of encouraging fans to leak his New Jersey address after Meek asked where he lived and wanted his first broadcast outside Ak's house. Ak responded with a video of a gun wall captioned “A collector.” The situation is at that temperature despite no confrontation or attendance.
Meek has not addressed the money segment.
