Russell Wilson has been openly advocating for baby number five, and he has finally welcomed her into the world

Ciara revealed her fifth pregnancy on Instagram Sunday, just two months after Wilson mentioned in an interview that he was still trying to convince her.

Ciara is expecting her fifth child, and Russell Wilson has been telling anyone who will listen that this has been the plan for some time. The singer shared the news on Instagram Sunday with a caption that stated, "One more person to love."

A video glides over four white shirts suspended on a clothesline under the sun, each shirt adorned with the name of a child already residing in the house. Future. Sienna. Victory. Amora. Ciara approaches, holding a small blank onesie, hangs it at the end of the line, and turns to the camera with a smile. She had rollers in her hair. Subsequent slides depict the couple displaying five fingers.

Now, let's discuss the campaign. Russell Wilson has been quite direct. After Amora was born in December 2023, he started asking about a fifth child almost immediately. Ciara mentioned that she advised him to take it easy. He went ahead and named the hypothetical baby regardless. Five. He has been referring to this child publicly for two years, even before the child existed.

He continued with it in July. At Fanatics Fest, he mentioned their four wonderful kids and attempted to persuade Ciara to consider having a fifth. He then playfully addressed an imaginary baby, declaring that Cinco should be on the way soon. He mentioned that he desires five, that Ciara also desires five, and that he hopes to persuade her. That interview took place less than two months prior to Sunday’s announcement, indicating that when he spoke, the answer was already in progress.

Ciara is 40 years old. Wilson is 37 years old. They tied the knot in 2016 and marked a decade together in July. Their children include Sienna Princess, aged 9, Win Harrison, aged 6, and Amora Princess, aged 2, along with Future Zahir, who is 12 and is Ciara’s son with Future. Wilson has expressed his willingness to take on that role. Earlier this year on I Am Athlete, he mentioned that raising a child with Ciara was a significant factor in realizing she was the one for him and that he felt prepared for the responsibility.

The timing coincides with a complete reset year for both individuals. Wilson retired in June after 14 seasons in the NFL and is joining CBS Sports as an analyst on The NFL Today. This is his first fall in two decades with a schedule of his own, not a team’s. Ciara unveiled her EP YES PACK in August.
