Khloé Kardashian is told by two people to go to therapy, but she responds, “I’m not struggling”
The Good American go-founder is advised to get treatment by Kim Kardashian and her friend Malika Haqq in the most recent episode of “The Kardashians.”
Two people advised Khloé Kardashian to seek therapy, but the co-founder of Good American maintains that she is “not struggling.”
In the most recent episode of The Kardashians, Khloé’s sister Kim Kardashian informs her that she will be going back to therapy and asks her to “be on this journey with me.”
Later, while Khloé and friend Malika Haqq are having lunch, the subject comes up again, and the discussion soon turns to Khloé’s (then) impending 40th birthday.
Malika responds, “We really do have to celebrate your birthday.” “Could we do an Eat Pray Love for your birthday?” she inquires, alluding to Elizabeth Gilbert’s introspective memoir, which was adapted into a Julia Roberts film in 2010.
Khloé answers quickly, “No,” labeling the concept a “disaster.”
It’s indirect therapy, according to Malika. It’s similar to the type of therapy you’re interested in.
“Do you believe I should get therapy?” Khloé queries.
“One hundred percent,” responds Malika.
“Do you?” Shocked, Khloé responds, telling Malika about her previous chat with Kim.
Malika advises, “You should pay attention to your sister.”
“I’ve had therapy,” Khloé declares. I’ve seen three or four different therapists, roughly.
Before welcoming her second kid, son Tatum, via surrogacy in August 2022, she claims to have visited a therapist. She and her ex-partner Tristan Thompson have an 8-year-old daughter named True.
“I’ve never struck a chord. “I just told you my whole life story,” I exclaim. All of those horrible, evil things, and you’ll just say, “Okay.” I never received advice.
Malika responds, “Then she’s definitely not the person for you.”
Khloé says, “So far, every therapist I’ve seen has done that.”
“I was actually told by one therapist that I didn’t need therapy because I process things so matter-of-factly,” Khloé admits in her confessional. I’m not sure. It was an unusual meeting.
“My husband, I found him at a drug den in a motel and, like, I was saying something, but [my therapist asked], ‘So do you get upset?'” she recalls responding to her cheating and drug-related scandalous ex-husband.
Khloé said that the therapist remarked, “I don’t really think you need me,” because she was composed and not angry.
“What?,” I thought to myself. “Is she terminating me?” Khloé pondered. “I believe a therapist broke up with me.”
But as Malika noted, “You need someone to help you find your exit because you’ve gone through several traumatic events.” It’s not like you require guidance on how to embody Khloé. Someone has to show you how to see your escape route.
In her confessional, Khloé acknowledges, “I’m sure I need therapy.” I simply don’t feel like I’m having any trouble, I just can’t seem to find my path. I require therapy. I think, “All right, I’ll give counseling a shot.”
She acknowledges the need for more “adult socialization” and says she should “talk to different therapists for a little while,” as Malika advises.
“Is there anyone with time?” When Khloe asks, Malika responds, “Make the time.”
