Attorney For Kanye West Moves To Dismiss Him Amid Failed Relationship

Kanye West’s legal issues persist as his attorney has resigned from his representation.

Ye, the rapper, and an autograph dealer have gotten into a heated argument regarding an alleged attack. But the case’s managing attorney recently disclosed that he and the hip-hop artist were no longer together.

A former Yeezy employee filed a lawsuit against Kanye West for a number of offenses, including sexual harassment. Kanye West is no new to legal action.

Ye’s lawyer, Brian Brumfield, submitted a withdrawal application to Judge Theresa Traber earlier this week in the assault and battery case. He emphasized that his client had ended their collaboration on June 21st, which meant he could no longer take part in the trial.

In court records, Brumfield asserted, “Defendant also will not speak to counsel, and defendant refuses to pay counsel as well.” As such, a hearing regarding his plea for withdrawal has allegedly been set for July 29.

When Ye was sued by an autograph reseller named Justin Poplawski, Brumfield took up Ye’s legal representation. He accused the rapper of carelessness, intentional infliction of mental distress, and assault and violence.

Tiffany Marshall, the plaintiff’s wife, asserted that she experienced a loss of consortium in the interim. According to ABC7, Poplawski said Ye had viciously attacked him outside the upscale Soho Warehouse social club in Los Angeles without warning.

Within The Allegations of Assault and Battery

The complainant claims that the assault occurred in January 2022 after the singer of “Carnival” saw him walking by the club on the sidewalk and threatened to make an example of him. It is said that he brought up his divorce from Kardashian before to hitting Poplawski.

Based on the documents, Ye allegedly said, “Apology for what?” before beating Poplawski several times when the autograph dealer requested for an apology. The rapper’s friends reportedly told him to halt the beating, but it went on.

Poplawski claimed that the beating had severely injured him, and he demanded just recompense for the crimes. Five months prior to the lawsuit being filed, in January, the former employee of the hip-hop artist accused him of sexual harassment and other offenses.

The Yeezy Founder Denies Charges Made by His Former Assistant

The Blast revealed in June that Ye was being sued for inappropriate behavior and other reasons by Lauren Pisciotta, his former assistant. He angrily denied the allegations, nevertheless, in a statement provided by his attorneys.

Ye’s attorneys asserted, stating they intended to countersue Pisciotta, “She was terminated for being unqualified, demanding unreasonable sums of money (including a $4 million annual salary) and numerous documented incidents of her lascivious, unhinged conduct.”

The rapper was charged by the former Yeezy worker of sexual harassment, unlawful termination, breach of contract, and creating a hostile work environment in her lawsuit. She said Ye betrayed his authority as her boss and broke his commitments.

Within The Lawsuit for Sexual Harassment

Pisciotta claims she was guaranteed a $1,000,000 annual pay, but it also required her to be available all the time. When Ye was first scouted in July 2021, it is also said that she was aware of her OnlyFans presence and did not oppose to her online activities.

The ex-employee asserted that he would boast to followers about her accomplishments and refer to her as a “OnlyFans Superstar.” But in August 2022, when he urged Pisciotta to be “God-like” and remove her explicit account, his views on the matter altered.

Ye purportedly promised to give her $1,000,000 if she obeyed, but even after she deleted the OF account, he broke his word. Pisciotta’s predicament got worse when her ex-boyfriend made her watch him masturbate and hounded her with lewd texts.

According to Kanye West’s former assistant, he boasted of having a “five-person orgy.”

Pisciotta’s complaint continues with claims made by The Blast that Ye and his spouse, Bianca Censori, boasted about having a “five-person orgy.” She claims that this incident happened as the rapper was trying to get his former employee in bed.

In addition to torturing her with details about his extramarital affairs, Pisciotta claimed that Ye made her handle transportation arrangements for the women taking part in these orgies. The documents she claimed to have had read:

“On one such occasion, in August 2022, after [Pisciotta] had arranged an Uber ride, Kanye West, a.k.a. Ye and Bianca Censori, called [her] wanting to discuss the orgy (five-some) they had participated in the day before.”

As she made clear, Pisciotta did not “welcome or encourage these offensive acts, texts, videos, and statements,” nor did she tolerate his “offensive, demeaning, embarrassing, and abusive” actions.
