Rihanna may not have a release date for her album in the near future; however, she has not refrained from inquiring about the release date of another artist’s album.

GloRilla shared a screenshot of a direct message from the founder of Fenty Beauty on Tuesday, July 2. The message revealed that the founder was not only a fan of the superstar but also inquisitive about the release date of the rapper’s album.

“You have the entire summer, sis!” The 36-year-old “Umbrella” hitmaker wrote in a direct message, “I know dis wild hypocritical, but when the album drop? 🤷🏿‍♀️❤️.” The 24-year-old “TGIF” artist shared the message on Instagram with the caption “Ayyeeeee.”

GloRilla, whose actual name is Gloria Hallelujah Woods, first gained recognition for her 2022 single “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” with Hitkidd. This song became her first to make it to the Billboard Hot 100.

The Memphis rapper has since achieved success with “Tomorrow 2” featuring Cardi B, “On Wat U On” with Moneybagg Yo, “Yeah Glo!”, and “Wanna Be” with Megan Thee Stallion.

GloRilla’s debut mixtape, Ehhthang Ehhthang, was released on April 5.

On Monday, July 1, she disclosed that she was in the studio composing her debut album, which is anticipated to be released later this year, in a cover story for Vibe.
