Galatasaray and Aaron Wan Bissaka’s transfer is “nearing completion,” with an offer of a four-year contract
According to reports, defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka of Manchester United is moving closer to leaving Old Trafford, with a move to Galatasaray almost finalized.
One of the players that Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS are reportedly open to selling if the proper offer is made is Wan-Bissaka.
The England international appeared in 22 Premier League games the previous season. In addition to practicing his trade as a right-back in 30 games across all competitions, he also filled in briefly as a left-back in select games while Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw were out.
With one year remaining on his United contract, Wan-Bissaka is drawing approaches from both England and beyond.
The Peoples Person reported recently that Galatasaray have designated the 26-year-old as their main right-back target.
The Turkish powerhouses reportedly thought Wan-Bissaka would improve their teamwork and turn them into champions once more.
Although Galatasaray is optimistic that the club’s feel would dramatically decrease as the transfer window progresses, United is seeking €20 million for him.
There’s now a new update on the circumstances. According to Bein Sports Turkey (via SportWitness), the deal is “nearing completion” and Galatasaray is making strong headway in their attempts to get Wan-Bissaka.
The news source claims that the United star is keen to go on a fresh journey in Istanbul and that a four-year contract has been offered.
If Okan Buruk’s team is unable to sign Wan-Bissaka, they will turn their focus to players such as Nordi Mukiele and Lorenz Assignon.
SportWitness points out that you should proceed cautiously when interpreting this information because Turkish media has a tendency to report stories ahead of time and there’s a risk that fans have become overly optimistic about Wan-Bissaka’s decision to sign with Galatasaray.
Fans should, nevertheless, maintain a careful watch on it to see how it progresses.
