Jennifer Lopez cancels her summer tour amid the drama involving Ben Affleck

According to TMZ, Jennifer Lopez has decided to postpone her scheduled tour before it even begins, so she won’t be traveling this summer after all.

According to a Live Nation representative, Jen’s “THIS IS ME…LIVE” tour, which was scheduled to begin in June and visit many North American locations until August, is being completely canceled.

According to what we’ve been told, J Lo is “taking time off to be with her children, family, and close friends.” On her website, OntheJLo, Jen herself addressed the cancellation, writing, “I am utterly heartbroken and devastated about letting you down.” Please understand that if I didn’t think this was really necessary, I wouldn’t do it.”

“I swear I’ll make it up to you, and we’ll all be together again,” she continues. You all have my undying love. Until the next occasion, I hope.

We now have some further information, but no additional formal explanation was given. Although there had been reports earlier this month of poor ticket sales, those with firsthand knowledge told TMZ that this had no bearing on the decision, since ticket sales for the tour were actually increasing in important areas.

It is said that J Lo made this decision after much thought, and as she stated in her statement, she is disappointed. Of course, there are other things going on in Jen’s life at the moment that would be relevant to this, and the official explanation seems to take that into account.

Public criticism of Jennifer and Ben Affleck’s marriage has been raised. The couple, who presently live apart, has given conflicting signals about the status of their relationship by going out together on multiple occasions.

Fans who bought tickets through Ticketmaster will receive an immediate refund, according to LN. If you purchased your ticket from a third-party reseller, such as SeatGeek, StubHub, VividSeats, etc., you should contact them directly to find out more information.

Recall that earlier this spring, Ben moved into a Brentwood house, while Jennifer lived in their Beverly Hills property, which they purchased for $60 million only a year ago.

Although neither Ben nor Jen have publicly discussed the matter, it’s difficult to say whether the cancellation of the tour is good or bad for them. Anyway, no Jen on tour just yet.
