At the W.H. celebration, Joe Biden dons his helmet. Pat, give me a break!

In celebration of the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory on Friday, President Joe Biden went so far as to don a red helmet for Kansas City!

Shortly after praising the team for winning its second consecutive title, POTUS received the headwear. Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, and the other players urged him to toss it on his dome, and he duly obliged!

With assistance from head coach Andy Reid, the 81-year-old unbuckled the chinstraps and squeezed the protective gear over his head. Then he raised his hands and gestured for Mahomes to pass to him.

He continued to move it about the stage for a few more minutes at that point, even returning to the dais to utter a few things!

The Chiefs in attendance were giggling the entire time because they thought it was hilarious, but Biden removed it at the end of the ceremony.

It wasn’t the only humorous element of the occasion, though, as Biden asked Kelce to take the microphone at one point in the address to say a few things.

The Kansas City star referred to the audience as “my fellow Americans” in jest before promising not to stay too long.

“I’m not going to lie, President Biden, they told me if I came up here I’d get Tased,” he stated, “so I’m going to go back to my spot, all right?”

Taylor Swift, the All-Pro’s well-known girlfriend, was not present, and surprise, Biden made no mention of her.

But hey, maybe next year, Tay Tay? The Chiefs are the favorites to win it all again in 2025.
