Grant has selected a player from Cagliari to be part of the Zambia squad for the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers

The roster for the forthcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers has been announced by Zambia’s head coach, Avram Grant.

Chipolopolo will face off against the Atlas Lions of Morocco in Agadir on June 7th, followed by a home match against Tanzania’s Taifa Stars four days later at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

Grant has selected a group of 27 players for the preliminary squad, which includes Kingstone Mutandwa, a striker from Cagliari FC. This is Mutandwa’s first time being called up to the senior national side.
