Cardi B explains why she won’t cast her ballot for Donald Trump or Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential election

With incumbent President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump expected to engage in a historic presidential battle, Cardi B is offering her opinions on the next election.

Cardi expressed her dismay, saying that she doesn’t “f–k with” either Biden or Trump and that she wouldn’t be voting this year. Her choice is a complete reversal of her attitude from 2020, when she interviewed and helped Biden win.

In a recent Rolling Stone interview, the “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker declared that she would not be casting a ballot in this year’s presidential race, mostly because she has no interest in either of the two front-runners, Donald Trump or Joe Biden.

“I don’t f—–k with either of you n——gas,” Cardi stated to the outlet.

She continued by saying she no longer saw Trump as “a dire threat,” but rather felt “layers and layers of disappointment” from what she perceived to be both global and domestic incompetence under the present government.

Because of this, the rapper doesn’t think Trump or Biden are good choices.

Cardi added in her interview with the tabloid that she felt “betrayed” by the Biden administration for their support of the president in 2020.

Cardi said, “I feel like people got betrayed [by Biden’s administration],” lamenting the high expense of living, poor pay, and apathetic attitude of those in positions of authority.

She bemoaned the state of affairs even more, adding, “It’s just like, damn, y’all not caring about anybody.” The fact that there are remedies truly aggravates me.”

“An answer is available. You’re spending billions of dollars on any f—ing thing, so I know there’s a solution,” Cardi continued.

The “Invasion of Privacy” singer revealed the attitude the country has taken, which doesn’t sit well with her, in an interview with the news source.

Cardi expressed her disapproval of America’s seeming indifference to events occurring in countries other than her own, saying that the nation “has this superhero cape on.”

“[America] don’t pay for endless wars for countries that have been going through sh-t for a very long time,” she cautioned. “There’s countries [where] kids are getting killed every single day, but because the [US] won’t benefit from that country, they won’t help.”

“I object to America dressing like a superhero. It was never our intention to be superheroes. We took actions based on our own convenience,” she continued.

Cardi’s present perspective differs from hers from 2020, when she participated in the president’s campaign and conducted interviews, ostensibly assisting him in winning the popular vote.

Four years later, in November, Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, officially renounced her support for the Biden administration following budget cuts to her hometown of New York in spite of Washington’s

At the time, the outspoken 31-year-old rapper turned to Instagram Live to declare that she was done with Biden and to criticize the US for supporting Israel against Hamas and Ukraine against Russia. Eric Adams, the mayor of New York City, announced a 5% reduction in the city’s budget at the same time.

“In New York, there is a $120m budget cut that’s going to affect schools, public libraries, and the police department,” Cardi told The Guardian. “A $5 million reduction in sanitation funding…” We’re going to be inundated with rats.”

She continued on her Instagram Livestream by promising not to support any political candidates moving forward, a position she reiterated in her Rolling Stone interview.

Cardi B declared, “I’m endorsing no presidents no more.” “Yes, Joe Biden is saying that we can finance two wars. stating, “Yes, we succeed; we are the greatest country.” No, we’re not. We’re going through some shit right now, and we don’t have it. Thus, speak up!”

“We are really, really, really f—ed right now,” she went on. No, we are unable to pay for these wars.”

Cardi B then questioned if the US was in financial ruin, saying, “Yes, it is.” We ain’t got McDonald’s money.”

“Feed that… to somebody else, twinkle, but don’t feed it to me,” she screamed as a parting jab at Biden’s handling of foreign and economic affairs, adding that she would “get to the bottom of it.”
