President Samia makes this appointment today..!

President Samia Suluhu Hassan has appointed Professor Masoud Muruke as the chairman of the Tanzania Teachers Service Commission (TSC), replacing Professor Willy Komba who has expired.

Professor Komba has led the commission since June 2020 and his position has ended today, May 15, 2024, after his term of service in TSC has ended.

The announcement of Professor Muruke’s appointment was made today by the Presidential Communications Director, Zuhura Yunus.

Along with him, others whom the President has appointed are Ishmael Kasekwa who is the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB).

Along with them, he has also appointed Ambassador Maimuna Tarishi as the chairman of the Council of the Nelson Mandela African Institute of Science and Technology and Martin Kilimba is the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tanzania Commercial Bank (TCB).
