Will Smith’s Los Angeles home invader was apprehended and charged with a misdemeanor

Hollywood veteran Will Smith might wish to increase his family’s security detail in light of the arrival of yet another unwelcome guest.

The “Bad Boys” actor was just the second Pinkett-Smith family member to experience a home invasion this year. Will’s guards reportedly engaged him in combat when a man broke into his house in the L.A. region.

Law enforcement officials said that last Wednesday, deputies from the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department received information about an odd man who was hiding close to Will’s gate.

The alarms in the actor’s L.A. area house prompted two responses from them; the first stated that the suspicious man was requesting someone who doesn’t live there.

Will’s guards had done a good job escorting the man off the property before deputies showed up. Their happiness was short-lived, though, as the intruder came back and found a way to enter the ground hidden from the security guards.

Thankfully, the trespasser was stopped before he could enter Will’s house by the entertainer’s guards acting swiftly. After that, they notified the police, who detained and charged the man with a misdemeanor, according to TMZ.

Authorities have identified Robert Ogden, a 37-year-old man, as the house invader. He couldn’t be released before consulting with a court because police couldn’t release him on bond because they thought he would go back to Will’s house.

According to reports, Will was not home when the event happened, which is a luxury that his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, did not enjoy three months prior. As mentioned, Will’s wife was the first member of the well-known family to receive uninvited guests.

Two males are said to have broken into Jada’s home in February and climbed onto her balcony. Remarkably, the actress, who was at home at the time, was able to frighten the burglars away.

Since Will and Jada didn’t live together, their home invasions occurred on separate locations. In 2023, the host of “Red Table Talk” revealed the shocking information that the couple had split up almost ten years prior.

With two great children and an incredible real estate collection, Will and Jada continue to be a formidable couple despite their unusual relationship. Following their 1977 wedding, they purchased their first home together.

The Bryn Mawr property was an expansive 8,000-square-foot home that cost $937,500, according to Architectural Digest. Views from above reveal that the mansion was furnished with a variety of extravagances, including a full-sized sports court and a glittering outdoor pool.

Will and Jada are said to have paid $700,000 for a 2,165-square-foot home close to Philadelphia in 1998. In the early 2000s, they made even larger purchases, paying $3.4 million for a mansion in Hidden Hills and $42 million for a 150-acre estate in Calabasas.

The couple’s main home was this large adobe-style villa, which they had restored several times over the years. In one interview, Jada exclaimed about the gorgeous home, saying:

“This house has always been a spiritual undertaking for Will and me. We are very natural, earthy individuals. A family getaway that is handcrafted, organic, and connected to the earth is what we aimed to establish.”

Additionally, the pair owns two homes on the Hawaiian island of Kauai: a $10 million residence overlooking Secret Beach and a $14.5 million beach house. They paid $11.3 million for a brand-new mansion in Hidden Hills in 2021.

The Blast revealed in November of last year that Jada had made a strong statement regarding her union with Will. The mother of two asserted that although they have reportedly been apart since 2016, they would be “together forever”.

Jada clarified in the interview that the couple had made a vow that nothing would ever cause them to divorce. The actress stated that the couple continues to work through their problems because of this pledge.

“We’ll figure out whatever comes up. I simply haven’t been able to betray that commitment.”

In a separate interview, Will expressed similar views by asserting, “There are no deal breakers. Nothing she could possibly do would be able to end our relationship. It feels wonderful to reach that place, and I will support her till the day I die.”
