Kid Cudi, who broke his foot during Coachella, has canceled his world tour and plans to have surgery

Kid Cudi’s fractured foot at Coachella forces the cancellation of his globe tour. The rapper expressed regret but promised ticket holders refunds when he said he would be having surgery for a fractured calcaneus.

Social media was inundated with fans’ best wishes for a quick recovery for him. Despite the setback, Cudi is still committed to working on his music and movies. He has an album coming out in 2026 that is 80% finished.

A world tour by Kid Cudi has been put on hold as he recovers from surgery for a fractured foot he suffered when he leaped from the Sahara Tent stage during a Coachella performance.

The “Better Place” rapper used social media to announce the postponement of his “Insano: Engage the Rage World Tour,” citing the necessity for medical attention.

With these words, he disclosed that his ailment was more serious than first thought: “I have a broken calcaneus. I’m about to have surgery, and the recuperation period will be lengthy. We must call off the tour so that I may concentrate on recovering and be ready to battle with all of you.”

Cudi acknowledged that he wouldn’t be able to play to his highest level and expressed disappointment over the cancelation of his tour in order to concentrate on his health. He did, however, add, “Ticket Holders will get refunded.”

Along with apologizing to supporters for the postponed tour, Cudi promised them he will return.

“We will be back with new tour dates as soon as possible, and I can’t wait to get back out there with you guys and turn up how we do,” he wrote in a note. “I love you so much and I’m so sorry, family. Thank you for your unwavering support and love.” I know you’re all really disappointed, too, but I promise to come back. That’s a commitment.

He continued, saying that while he still feels “soreness” from the fall, he is trying to stay upbeat.
