Citizens from Congo arrested in Tanzania for pastoring in Kigambo without permission

The pastor of the Joy’s Testimony of Christ Church located in Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam, Godgiven Mushindikwa (52), a Congolese citizen, has been charged with five charges including doing pastoral work without permission.

The loser was brought to the dock in the Kisutu Resident Magistrate’s Court before the Chief Resident Magistrate, Gwantwa Mwankuga, and the charges against him were read by government lawyers from the Immigration Department, Raphael Mpuya and Ezekiel Kibona.

Reading the indictment, Kibona claimed that the defendant is accused of the offenses on April 4, 2024.

Kibona claimed that in the first charge, Reverend Mushindikwa is alleged to have entered the country illegally and on April 4, 2024, while at the Immigration Offices located in Kurasini, Dar es Salaam, he was found to have entered the country without a permit.
