Arsenal had to take a lesson from the defeat of Bayern Munich by Arteta

Mikel Arteta urged the Arsenal team to take lessons from their Wednesday night loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League semifinal.

The Gunnees’ chances of making it to the round of four were ended by Joshua Kimmich’s header at the Fussball Arena Munchen. However, Arteta acknowledged that he is pushing the young team to the utmost in their pursuit of a trophy.

“We haven’t been in the Champions League for seven years, and we haven’t been in this position for 14 years, but our intention is to fast-forward everything and in our first season, be ready to play in the semi-finals and we were very close,” Arteta stated in reflection on Arsenal’s campaign.

Sadly, we were unable to pull it off, so I must take responsibility for my own learning and work to earn the right to be in the same spot the next season.
