Salah’s chances of leaving Liverpool are ‘realistic’

According to a well-respected journalist, Mohamed Salah has a ‘realistic’ chance of leaving Anfield at the end of the campaign along with manager Jurgen Klopp.

When he revealed in January that he would be departing the team at the conclusion of the 2023–2024 season, Klopp stunned the English football community.

Now, though, Salah—who has been frequently linked to a move to the Saudi Pro League—recently asserted that Klopp’s exit will not impact his near future. Ben Jacobs, a football journalist, claims that Salah might actually depart the team at the end of the current campaign.

“From Salah’s perspective, he must also make a significant choice. Does he believe that he should depart Liverpool with three trophies and possibly in the company of Jurgen Klopp? “Is his goal to lead a new era under a different manager as one of the seasoned players?” Jacobs asked GiveMeSport.

Salah very likely would have been a member of Liverpool’s squad for the 2024–2025 season if Klopp had lasted until 2026. However, Klopp’s exit might slightly alter the viewpoints.

“Salah has a realistic chance of traveling to Saudi Arabia in 2024, but it is still not guaranteed.”
