Yanga beats Singida FG, sends greetings to Simba

The leaders of the NBC Premier League, Yanga SC have dealt a heavy blow to the Singida Fountain Gate team after scoring a 3-0 goal in the league game played this evening at the CCM Kirumba Tournament in Mwanza.

Yanga’s goals were scored by Joseph Guede who scored two goals in the 42nd and 68th minutes while the other goal was scored by Stephanie Aziz Ki in the 66th minute.

Yanga are now at the top of the league standings with 55 points while they are 9 points behind their compatriots Simba SC with 46 points in third place and Azam in second place with 47 points.

Yanga attacking midfielder, Aziz Ki has continued to be at the top of the top scorers with a total of 14 goals ahead of Azam FC’s Fei Toto with 13 goals.

Next Saturday, April 20, in the Mkapa Tournament, there will be a tough job where Simba and Yanga will battle it out, with Yanga looking better than their countrymen.
