Biden denounces Iran’s attack on Israel and praises the US military’s prompt action

According to Biden, the US had warships and aircraft in the Middle East at a crucial location before to Iran’s strike on Israel.

President of the United States Joe Biden praised American soldiers for acting quickly to support Israel after Iran launched an unprecedented attack.

President Biden denounced the strikes in a statement and commended the US military’s assistance to Israel in stopping almost all of Iran’s drones and missiles during the attack.

President Biden highlighted the amount of preparedness in reaction to the rising tensions by stating that the US had strategically positioned planes and warships in the vicinity before to the strike.

Asserting America’s unwavering commitment to Israel’s security, President Biden declared, “I condemn these attacks in the strongest possible terms.”

Iran reportedly deployed hundreds of drones and missiles into Israeli territory, the country’s first direct attack from Iranian soil, according to reports. Most of the rockets were intercepted, but some did damage, one of which struck an IDF base in southern Israel, wounding several people, including a small girl.

Iran had threatened to retaliate for an earlier attack on its consulate in Syria that had killed seven Iranian officers, including a senior commander. This attack followed suit. Tensions between Israel and the United States have increased even though Israel has neither confirmed nor denied involvement for the strike.

In a conversation with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Biden reaffirmed America’s unwavering commitment to Israel’s security, saying, “I’ve just spoken with Prime Minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu. “I informed him that Israel had proven to have an incredible ability to fend off and overcome even.

Furthermore, President Biden declared that the G7 leaders would meet in an unprecedented way “to coordinate a united diplomatic response to Iran’s brazen attack.”

President Biden returned from a scheduled visit to Delaware to the White House to receive briefings from national security authorities due to the rapidly developing situation. The government emphasizes the necessity of ongoing situational monitoring and is guarded against any risks to US assets.

Republicans in the House of Representatives are currently working on measures to strengthen sanctions against Iran and increase funding to Israel. Furthermore, sources suggest that during the attack, missiles targeted toward Israel were intercepted by US warships.

The Royal Air Force (RAF) of the United Kingdom has also promised assistance in the area, stating that its aircraft are prepared to thwart attacks that come within the purview of its ongoing missions in the Middle East. In addition, the UK Ministry of Defense has increased its air refueling tanker and jet deployments.

While the UK, France, and Canada have denounced Iran’s conduct and shown support for Israel, Iran has threatened more punishment if Israel or the US react to the strike.
