The Tanzania President Samia Suluhu Double Up Goal Incentive Package For Simba SC & Yanga SC

Tanzania President Samia Suluhu Hassan has doubled her goal incentive bundle for Premier League clubs Simba SC and Young Africans (Yanga SC) from USD 1,960 to USD 3,920 for each goal.

This was revealed by the Minister for Culture, Arts and Sports, Dr Damas Ndumbaro in Dar es Salaam on Wednesday. He mentioned this in a meeting with officials from the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF), Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB) as well as Simba and Yanga administration.

“Even President Samia Suluhu Hassan is ready to support these teams to reach far in the CAF Champions League…she has doubled her goal motivation package from 5m/- to 10m/-,” revealed Ndumbaro as quoted by Daily News, adding: “She wants these teams to do well and reach in the finals…in order to achieve this, we should all support our envoys.”

Simba are preparing to encounter Al Ahly of Egypt in the first leg of Champions League quarters at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam on March 29 while their rivals Yanga will take on Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa at the similar spot-on March 30.
