Osimhen ruled out Super Eagles friendlies against Ghana and Mali Due To Injuries

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has been ruled out of Nigeria’s approaching friendlies against the Black Stars of Ghana and Mali as Napoli verified that their star player has not been confirmed completely ready to play currently.

The 25-year-old had been dealing with strength concerns and began on the bench for Napoli in a critical Serie A battle with Inter Milan on Sunday.

Napoli coach Francesco Calzona lately told the Nigeria international has not been handed a clean bill of fitness to start playing football and is not on the list of players Napoli released for international duty.

“Osimhen has an inflammation of the scar from an old injury,” Calzona said to DAZN.
