Senior Hamas Commander Killed in Al Shifa Invasion

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF). early Monday morning began a swoop on Gaza City’s Al-Shifa Hospital, along with information that senior Hamas officers were in the vicinity and using the hospital to organize and carry out terror activity, the forces said.

During the raid troops killed a senior Hamas commander, according to the IDF. One Israeli soldier was also killed during a gun war with terror operatives in the area of the hospital before daylight.

The attack was started at around 2:30 a.m., with military of the IDF’s 401st Armored Brigade and extra units, including special forces and the Shin Bet security group, surrounding the hospital, the largest medical center in the Gaza Strip.
