President of the Spanish Premier League ‘La Liga’ Javier Tebas
The president of the Spanish Premier League ‘La Liga’ Javier Tebas wants Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood to stay in the country as soon as his season-long loan at the Getafe club ends.
The 22-year-old Greenwood joined the Madrid squad from United last September after the former England striker left his former club following a criminal investigation into possible attempted rape. The charges against Greenwood were dropped, but he left the club following an internal investigation.
“He (Greenwood) is progressing well as a player and I hope he will continue to play in Spanish football,” said Tebas, speaking to reporters in London. “That’s good for us.” Greenwood, who has scored five goals and made five assists in 25 appearances for Getafe, has a contract with United until June 2025. United’s new co-owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe was recently asked about Greenwood and Kuse.
