Porsha Williams paid Simon Guobadia’s child support and additional expenses during his ICE detainment
Guobadia, meanwhile, revealed that he has “no animosity” for Trump or his government.
Following his ICE detention, Porsha Williams appears to have stepped up to help her ex-husband Simon Guobadia.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star acknowledged paying his child support and other household bills in recently leaked court recordings. Yes, I did provide him money for his two boys’ child support. In addition to paying the bills, I also took care of the house,” Williams stated.
When a court questioned Williams about her decision, she said, “I really got concerned, being that Simon was still detained […].” After all, I’m still married to him, and I thought it was terrible that they weren’t receiving any assistance. My assistant had received a message from the mother expressing her anxiety. She informed me that it hadn’t been paid when I spoke with her, so I paid [his child support].
The divorce between the pair was just finalized. After a little more than a year of marriage, she filed, requesting that the court uphold the provisions of their prenuptial agreement. Guobadia attempted to challenge the terms, which included coverage of legal fees, property partition, and monthly alimony. Williams has now been deported to Nigeria after a judge sided with him.
Guobadia praised the Trump administration to US Weekly after being arrested. “Donny, as I call him, we are a lot alike. Since we are both Geminis, I can definitely relate to some of his antics. We are misinterpreted, I would argue at times.
“I don’t have any animosity towards the situation,” he said. Like any other CEO or chief executive, I have no issues with Donald Trump. We try to hire the best candidates we can locate. Furthermore, the problems he faces are the same as those facing any other company. Considering how long I was there, I believe I have a pretty unique viewpoint on this subject. Additionally, I saw a lot of things that I believe I can assist the administration with.
Although Guobadia does not currently have any plans to “fight” his way back to the United States, he would if given the opportunity.
