The FIFACWC tournament for Al Ahly Midfield Ashour has come to an end
Al Ahly revealed on Sunday that Emam Ashour, their midfielder, will miss the remainder of the 2025 Club World Cup because of a fractured collarbone that was verified by scans.
Ashour left the opening game of the new competition against Inter Miami, which ended in a goalless draw, in tears due to a shoulder injury.
“Emam Ashour will miss the remaining Club World Cup matches due to a broken collarbone, according to medical examinations conducted in a Miami hospital,” Al Ahly physician Ahmed Gaballah stated on the club’s X account.
Ashour, who previously suffered a serious shoulder injury when playing for the Egyptian national team in 2024, initially fell early in the game and was treated on the sidelines before making a brief comeback and missing a one-on-one opportunity.
The 27-year-old Egyptian Premier League top scorer was unable to continue and asked to be changed, therefore Ahmed Sayed (Zizo) took his place in the fourteenth minute.
