Rapper Macklemore’s nanny was sprayed with pepper spray and robbed in Wild Home Invasion

A few days ago, in Seattle, Grammy-winning rapper Macklemore’s nanny was the target of a scary break-in while she was watching the rapper’s kids.

Seattle Police say the house was broken into early Saturday morning, around 1 a.m., when a caller said she had been “attacked with pepper spray” and that the thieves were still inside with the three kids.

The nanny told the cops that she had “put the kids to bed” when she saw “two men entering the property.” One of them sprayed her right away. As a surprise, she remembered that “one of the men started to help her clean the spray out of her eyes.” The helper was “fearful,” she said.

The police found that “thousands of dollars worth of items” were stolen, such as the nanny’s cell phone and “jewelry, watches, and shoes.” She did something brave when she “said she bit one of the thieves before they ran out of the house.” Video footage is said to have shown the guys running away from the house.

It’s still not clear if Macklemore was home at the time of the theft, and the rapper hasn’t said anything about what was taken or what kind of things were taken.

The nanny and the kids had a scary experience with this unsettling break-in, which shows how vulnerable even well-known families can be. The bravery of the nanny biting one of the attackers and the strange kindness of the scared thief who cleaned her eyes make this event even more interesting.
