Priscilla Ojo and Juma Jux are scheduled for a lavish wedding finale in Tanzania

Priscilla Ajoke Ojo and Juma Jux are getting ready for their last wedding ceremony, which will be held in Tanzania. 

The pair has already marked different phases of their relationship with a number of successful wedding celebrations in Nigeria.

The Nigerian influencer Priscilla accepted the Tanzanian singer Juma’s proposal at an engagement party, marking the start of their married adventure. 

Their families gathered for a civil wedding after this. Then, in Dar Es Salaam, a Nikkah ceremony—a customary Islamic marriage ceremony—took place.

The couple went to Nigeria for their traditional, white wedding after these preliminary rituals.

They will hold their last welcoming ceremony in Tanzania on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the SuperDome. The importance of invites has been underlined by the groom, who is asking everyone to bring theirs.

Juma Jux wrote on Instagram, “Kwa heshima kubwa, tunapenda kuwajulisha kuwa Mkadi_Tz ndiyo kampuni rasmi inayosimamia mialiko ya wageni wetu wote kwa tukio letu maalum la #JP2025 Final Wedding, itakayofanyika tarehe 28 Mei 2025 pale SuperDome!” It means: “With great respect, we would like to inform you that Mkadi_Tz is the official company managing all guest invitations for our special #JP2025 Final Wedding event, which will be held on May 28, 2025, at the SuperDome!”

How they came to be together

An fortuitous meeting while on a business trip in Rwanda in 2024 marked the beginning of Juma Jux and Priscilla Ojo’s love story.

After missing his first flight and failing to get a business-class seat on the second, Juma was forced to navigate the first class cabin.

There, Priscilla caught sight of him, seeming delighted by his annoyance, and their mutual giggle unpredictably sparked their relationship.

They met again at the same hotel by coincidence. While her buddy, Chioma Ikokwu, was mingling, Priscilla was feeling ill. 

Juma eventually found Priscilla after approaching Chioma. Although he was immediately enthralled with her, gaining her love was difficult. 

She took his number but did not text him in spite of his efforts, and even Juma’s follow-up message was not returned.

However, Juma persisted because he was certain that Priscilla was the woman he was looking for. They became closer as a result of their frequent meetings, which led to their engagement in August 2024 and marriage in 2025. 

A cross-continental relationship that was celebrated with a traditional wedding that properly acknowledged both Tanzanian and Nigerian traditions was born out of what started as a missed flight and a shared moment of laughing.
