“Grey’s Anatomy.” In court, Jesse Williams’ ex-wife cries “infringement on her parental rights”

Aryn Drake-Lee, the estranged wife of Jesse Williams, responds to her husband’s earlier petition with a powerful argument!

The actor’s former partner is returning to defend herself against the judge’s decision over their children’s custody, which gave her ex sole legal custody. She is now criticizing the decision and asking for a reexamination.

Aryn Drake-Lee, the ex-wife of Jesse Williams, submitted the declaration on May 12 and attacked both the actor and the judge overseeing their acrimonious divorce proceedings.

The judge’s decision regarding child custody was cited by Jesse Williams’ ex as lacking a proper hearing.

After being accused of breaking a court order by the Grey’s Anatomy star, the actor’s ex-wife has returned to court. She claimed the court violated her parental rights in her recent declaration, expressing concerns about losing legal custody.

Drake-Lee claimed that no evidentiary hearings were held and that no significant facts or evidence were offered to support the decision to grant her ex-husband sole custody.

She underlined that the decision infringed upon her rights under California law and the U.S. Constitution and was based only on hearsay.

Drake-Lee further argued that her children are “protected property” in a private trust, implying that the court has no jurisdiction to decide how best to care for them.

Drake-Lee claimed that any state intervention in their mental, physical, or emotional well-being without due process or an immediate fear of damage violates their trust, as reported by In Touch.

In her petition, she asked the court to revoke any subsequent orders pertaining to the children and to restore her legal rights, as well as to reexamine the ruling that gave her ex-husband sole legal custody.

The television personality accused Aryn Drake-Lee of disobeying court orders.

Williams was given sole legal custody of their children’s medical decisions by a Los Angeles judge in March. However, he claimed in an emergency request earlier this month that Drake-Lee, his ex-partner, was not following this court order.

He said she actively communicated with the child’s doctor, claiming she did not consent to the treatment and threatened to sue if he went ahead, obstructing a medical procedure for one of their children.

In his filing, the actor voiced his worries, saying that until the court granted orders to stop Drake-Lee from interfering, he would not be able to get their kids the healthcare they need. He related one instance in which the doctor apologized to Williams and, shocked by the circumstances, urged them to leave.

As they departed, their kids naively asked their mother how she had behaved and whether they had been “kicked out.” The judge ultimately decided on May 6 that Drake-Lee could not interfere with their child’s medical procedure.

Williams asked for the current custody arrangement to be modified.

According to The Blast, Williams filed court papers late last year in an attempt to change the custody agreement between him and his ex-partner for his two children, with the goal of a 50/50 custody division.

He highlighted his close relationship with his children in his gesture, saying they frequently tell him how much they love spending time with him and even request to stay longer.

He relocated to Drake-Lee, only 15 minutes away, to help with transitions, but he still found the children’s frequent changes difficult.

Aryn expressed concerns about the children being cared for by outside parties and demanded custody in the event that the actor was out of town, even though she did not object to Williams having more time with the children.

During their divorce procedures, Drake-Lee accused the TV personality and his legal team of pressuring her, claiming he threatened to take her to court if she didn’t agree with his requests.

She expressed her conviction that her ex’s demands frequently benefited his own interests at the expense of their kids’ mental, emotional, and physical health.

The actor took action to learn more about his former partner’s new partner.

Williams also showed up in court for a hearing against his ex-wife, where he asked for details about Peace Reedburg, her current lover.

The fact that Reedburg had access to their two children without his knowledge was what worried him. But the judge turned down his request for Reedburg’s specifics.

Despite this setback, Williams won the custody case and was granted complete legal custody of his children’s medical care.

In order to bring their legal issues to a successful conclusion, the court also mandated that he update Drake-Lee on the health, education, and general well-being of their children.
