The Weeknd is “thinking about ideas.” His Stage Name’s Termination

The “Blinding Lights” hitmaker, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, has previously expressed a wish to shed his persona and hinted that his next film, “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” would be his final endeavor under the name. However, due to his professional obligations, he isn’t quite ready to drop it just yet.

“At the moment, we’re brainstorming it,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. We don’t seem to have any definitive answers, but I haven’t revealed anything yet because I’m on tour and still need to visit the fans.

In addition, the 35-year-old celebrity hinted that he is “getting there” in his decision to break up with The Weeknd.

He said, “Have I started?” to People magazine. Yes, it is progressing.

“I mean, I can’t really retire it right now because I’m on tour.”

The Grammy-winning artist was asked if the concept evoked any feelings.
“Oh, I can’t tell you too much,” he said.

The Weeknd thinks it’s “weird” to be famous.

“I’ve always wanted my work to be famous,” he stated. I haven’t really mastered that entire skill set and don’t intend to since I’m not sure if I ever wanted to be renowned.

“This is a strange circumstance, but here we are.”

The “After Hours” hitmaker recently said how his coworkers liking his music without realizing he was the one behind it was a sign it was time for him to leave his job at a clothes store.

“I’ve been recording since I was about 14 or 15 but I didn’t really blow up until my early 20s,” he revealed in an interview with Jenna Ortega for V magazine.

But even back then, when I was inspired by Daft Punk, I wanted the music to do the talking, don’t you think? No one knew who I was when I released music. I wasn’t quite homeless anymore; I was just getting off the streets.

“People at my day job at American Apparel were listening to my music.” I had released it. People didn’t realize I was standing and working right next to them while they were listening to my music. That, in my opinion, was the approval I needed to resign from my position and concentrate on this 110%.

The musician, 35, is appreciative that he was able to adapt to popularity while staying nameless for a while.
